Case 1.Renovation and improvement on UK made MMD series Primary Crusher

Background

The 3Mt/a Zhaolou Coal Mine of Yankuang Group started its coal washery in 2009. Topcrusher renovated and rebuilt the MMD625 Tooth Boot Primary Screening Crusher installed in the Mine’s coal separation plant. The renovated machine was started up on 25th May, 2015.

Renovation included

Redesign and manufacturing of tooth boots.

Redesign and manufacturing of tooth holder.

Dissembling and repairing of tooth roller.

Performance

The core parts including tooth boots, tooth holders that were redesigned and manufactured by Topcrusher have been tested and proved to be as good as the original parts. The crushing teeth were dissembled, repaired and mounted in a scientifically planned way, and with optimum method. The equipment was considered to be fully restored to its original performance. Topcrusher greatly saved customer’s costs on maintenance and spare parts, while providing the customer with professional and quick-responding aftersales support.

Study on the shape, materials and heat treatment of the tooth boots.

Tooth holder design, particularly the allowance analysis and implementation.
